The Village of Reedsville is taking proactive steps to protect the health of the public by taking actions to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The steps will have an impact on how the Village serves the public.

The Village Board held a special meeting on March 19, 2020 and approved putting in place the following actions which are effective immediately and will continue until further notice.

All Village of Reedsville Buildings and Facilities are closed for walk-in service.

The Spring Election and Presidential Preference Primary is to be held on Tuesday April 7, 2020 at the Reedsville Municipal Building located at 217 Menasha St., Reedsville, WI. Residents are highly encouraged to use absentee voting. Requests must be made prior to April 2nd. Ballots cannot be mailed after that date. Voters must be registered in order to request an absentee ballot

An absentee ballot can be requested by using one the following methods: • Online at www.myvote.wi.gov • By mail: Send request in writing to Village of Reedsville, 217 Menasha St., Reedsville, WI 54230-8597. Request must include a copy of your photo ID. • E-mail: Send request to: [email protected] . Request must include a copy of your photo ID • Drop Box located near the front door of the Reedsville Municipal Building, 217 Menasha St Request must be in writing and include a copy of your photo ID. • We will allow for a very limited in-person absentee voting by appointment only. To make an appointment, please contact the Clerk-Treasurer office at 920-754-4371 If you request an absentee ballot, please be sure to allow mailing time so the ballot is returned on or before Election Day in order to be counted. Ballots returned after the close of polls will not be counted.

Other affected Village Operations: • Village employees will use social distancing to the greatest extent possible when conducting business with the public. We are currently operating on our normal work hours and will continue to serve our residents as best we can during this situation. Please do not hesitate to conduct them using any of the above options. •

Village Board meetings will continue as normal. The Village will be limiting resident participation so that we can work to maintain the number of people gathered in one location. Please do not hesitate to contact any of the Board Members with any issues, questions or concerns. •

Any rental of Village buildings or facilities are cancelled until health emergency is lifted. No public access will be allowed in these buildings.
