Notice is hereby given that the Village Board of the Village of Reedsville Wisconsin has declared its intent to exercise it Police Powers in accordance with ss: 66.0703 Stats. and local assessment policies to levy special assessments upon properties abutting any portion of the improvements planned as part of the 2020 Street and Utility Improvement Project, for benefits conferred upon the property by the improvement of the streets and utilities including new sidewalk, utility service replacements and additions.
The 2020 Street and Utility Improvements shall include all properties abutting both sides of the street described as: • Birch Lane from N 2nd Street to N 3rd Street • Mill Street from N 2nd Street to N. 6th Street • Menasha Street from 200’ easterly of N. 2nd Street to 300’ westerly of N. 3rd Street • N. 3rd Street from Manitowoc Street to Mill Street • N. 2nd Street from Manitowoc Street to Mill Street
Notice is further provided that the Reedsville Village Board will hear all interested parties or their representatives concerning matters contained in the preliminary resolution authorizing of the assessments in the above described area on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 6:30 pm at the Reedsville Municipal Building located at 217 Menasha Street, Reedsville, WI. All objections will be considered at this hearing and there after the amount of the assessments will be determined.
