Friends of the Branch River Watershed
On Monday, October 5 at 6:30, we are opening up the Franklin Town Hall (7524 North County Road J – North off Hwy 10, on the Left at Taus intersection) and will welcome our expert–Jay Watson, a Conservation Biologist of the Wisconsin DNR, to share his knowledge on Colony Insects (native bees is his specialty but he will plan on touching on carpenter ants and hornets/wasps). I will hopefully catch some insects to bring in for show and tell! A question and answer session will follow after Jay’s presentation and we will have some light refreshments and treats to enjoy. Young and old are welcome and will learn a lot! We will also have some coloring activities for kids available.
