FOSP Annual Corporation Meeting
Venue: Heritage House, Maple Grove, WI
The Friends of St. Patrick, Inc. will hold their annual Christmas Party on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Braunie’s Deer Run Golf & Dining, South Main St. Brillion, WI. The dinner of chicken and tips with all the trimmings will be served at 12:30 p.m. Anyone can attend this event, but reservations are needed, and may be made by calling Art at (920) 756-3471, or Marge at (920) 754-4001, before December 7, 2014. Cost for the afternoon is $16.00 per person, with tax and tip included. Everyone attending is asked to bring a wrapped or unwrapped gift, anything goes, and any price. There will be door prizes, the gift exchange, and entertainment. The Friends of St. Patrick, Inc. has been in existence since 1992, for the purpose of preserving the Irish heritage of the Maple Grove, and the old St. Patrick Parish community. Each year they hold a Fall Picnic, Christmas Party, and St. Patrick’s Day celebration. They publish a newsletter, “The Grove News” twice a year. They also award scholarships to graduating seniors, this year they awarded four, $500 and one $300, scholarships. Applications for the 2015 year will be accepted after January, 2015. The group meets quarterly at their Heritage House in Maple Grove. The next meeting will be their annual Corporation meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 1:00 P.M. when election of officers and board of directors will take place.
